So, as you know, yesterday, I arrived at Cambridge, so, today, it makes sense to write my Rectory Farm review. So I can review Swing Sanctuary 2025 tomorrow.
Rectory Farm review
Anyway, I just wanted to say that this place is like a farm converted into a hotel or Bed and Breakfast sort of place. I really like the place so far. They have a huge parking lot for free (or at least I didn’t pay yet). The check in was easy and the staff was lovely.
What really caught my eye is the surroundings of the place. It feels like a park – lots of green – grass and trees and meadows. Really amazing atmoshpere.
What I already had the chance to test today – the shower. For me – it’s very important as I travel a lot and mostly for dancing. So I get sweaty and everything so I need to shower, mostly twice a day – in the morning before the classes and after classes – before the social dancing. The shower was amazing. I have to emphasise this as I stayed someplace else somewhere in the UK where they had no hot water in the shower. While I sometimes take cold showers in the morning, I don’t feel like doing it at hotels. I paid so I want “premium services”. Of course, shower at Rectory Farm was great.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to taste their amazing food as I had my own food. I am pretty sure their food was also delicious, just like their B&B. What I also absolutely loved is that it was very close to Storey Field in Cambridge where I needed to dance. It took me around 20 minutes to walk from Rectory Farm to the dancing place. It was amazing and the road was really nice. Rectory Farm is also a gated area so it feels safe at night. If you ever happen to be in Cambridge and need a place to stay – stay at Rectory Farm.
