Hey there! As mentioned in one of the posts earlier this week, today I did what I never did before. First, yesterday I went to bed at like 9:30 PM. I actually had great sleep. Slept until 2:30. Took a shower, left home at 3:15 AM. On my way to Manchester’s Airport, I grabbed some sandwiches and coffee from a gas station.
I was at airport around 4:45 AM or so. For the first time I had 2 cabin luggages (I normally carry 1 cabin and have 1 check-in luggage). Of course, I was stuck at security, one of my luggages had toothpaste in it which I completely forgot about it. The thing is, it took them around 20 minutes to get to my bag for 20 seconds of check up. Anyway, I was not late as I was quite early. My flight was at 6:25 and I had no check-in luggage. Of course, I had a pint of beer while waiting for the plane.
I was in Brussels at 9 AM. My dance classes started around 10:30. I spent around 55 minutes on a bus from Brussels Charleroi airport to Brussels zuidstation. It was 9:20 or so when I arrived to that station. Of course, I caught the taxi and arrived to the dance class instead of my hotel. I was around 15-20 minutes late but I don’t think that I missed much.
The solo jazz classes were amazing. I will talk about this even exclusively on my separate blog post later next week. Of course, after the classes I had to quickly check-in my hotel which was about 19 minutes away on foot. Car would have taken me around 21 minute because of a lot of one-way roads. And traffic. It’s capital after all …
After check-in, I took a shower and then went on a business meeting. It doesn’t matter but it went well. Will start working with the guy in about 3-4 months or so. Anyway, after that, I got some food, another pint and then went to the party organised by the dance workshop organiser.
It was very intense day today so I’ll blog about Brussels itself tomorrow.
