Hey guys, so today is not very intense day. I went to see my parents and also watched both Paris 2024 Olympics basketball finals. Congrats to Serbia for bronze, France for silver and USA for gold medals!
So, since I can’t tell you much about my day today as it wasn’t anything special, today I will tell you why I chose blogging over vlogging daily. I am not saying that I won’t start vlogging any time soon, just not now.
Why I don’t vlog
The reason why I started blogging daily? Well, you can briefly read them in my DailyBlog entry #1. Here are the reason why I chose NOT to vlog:
- time restraints – I am already busy person with all the work, client meetings and flying I do. Of course, I could find more time to start vlogging but it’s not my priority right now.
- no video editing skills – I don’t have video editing skills. I know I could just talk to camera and add some pictures and text while editing but then again, editing would still take more time than to write a blog post.
- no team – now, of course, I can learn video editing and filmography myself but that would take extra time. At the moment, I don’t have team of filmographers and video editors. And yeah, I wouldn’t want to release half-done videos that wouldn’t look great.
- almost full time job – yes, vlogging would become almost full-time job. Of course, you can always earn good money while documenting your life but at the same time, I am busy with work and client meetings + travelling and I don’t need another job, you know 😉
So I hope that clears things up. I know that blogging used to be very popular back in a day before vlogging took over. Now, I guess documenting your life over TikTok is more popular than vlogging.
That’s it for today, bye!
